The Fall Symposium this year is a celebration of those people at URI who “teach outside the box”. The people who help students uncover their love for something new; those who mentor students and help them adjust their path; those who recognize that the most efficient path is not necessarily the straight one. This Symposium celebrates those of you who walk those paths with students.
Our keynote speakers are Scott Carlson and Ned Laff who are the authors of Hacking College: Why the Major Doesn’t Matter—and What Really Does.
